Cori Dennison, MPH, is an epidemiologist with more than a decade of experience in global public health, infectious diseases, workforce development, and infection prevention and control. She currently serves with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion, where she leads and supports international initiatives focused on healthcare-associated infections, antimicrobial resistance, health systems strengthening, and healthcare workforce capacity building. Her work has supported public health preparedness and healthcare system strengthening efforts across the United States, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe/Central Asia. She has collaborated with ministries of health, ASEAN partners, and healthcare facilities to improve infection prevention capacity, strengthen surveillance systems, support healthcare workforce development, advance antimicrobial stewardship, and enhance outbreak detection programs.
