The APSIC Prof Seto Wing Hong Infection Prevention and Control Achievement Award will be presented to
honor a healthcare worker working in the field of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) who has made an
outstanding contribution in the field in Asia Pacific region. The award will be presented at an APSIC
Congress and the recipient will be invited to present a lecture outlining their work/research and its
contribution to the field.
The Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) has established APSIC Infection Prevention and Control Nurse Travel Award to promote ongoing training and professional development opportunities for nurses in the field of infection prevention and control in healthcare settings in the Asia Pacific Region. The Travel Award will facilitate the successful applicant’s attendance at a forthcoming International Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) Congress meeting. Attendance at the congress will further their knowledge and skills and offer valuable networking opportunities with regional and international peers.
The APSIC 2026 Travel Award recognises and supports outstanding early-career researchers in infection prevention and control. This award provides financial assistance to promising young investigators, enabling them to attend APSIC 2026, present their research, engage with global experts, and advance their professional development. Through this initiative, APSIC reaffirms its commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders dedicated to advancing infection prevention and patient safety worldwide.
Presenting authors who have submitted an abstract for the 12th International Congress of the Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) 2026 are invited to apply for the APSIC 2026 Travel Award.
