Nik Khairol Reza Md Yazin Malaysia
Dr Nik Khairol Reza Bin Md Yazin is a Public Health Medicine Consultant and Head of Occupational Health Subspecialty currently serving as the Head of the Occupational Safety and Health Sector within the Disease Control Division of the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia. He holds an M.D. and a Master of Community Medicine (Occupational Health) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and has completed subspecialty training in Occupational Epidemiology. With over two decades of public health experience, he has held prominent leadership positions, including serving as the District Health Officer for several districts and as the Epidemiology officer at several states before transitioning to national-level post. Dr Reza has been instrumental in shaping critical national health policies, authoring and formulating national guidelines related Occupational Safety and Health. A Certified Medical Impairment Assessor (CMIA), he is also an active researcher and holds key leadership roles in professional organisations, including serving as a Co-opt Council Member of the Academy of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Malaysia (AOEMM).
