Glenys Harrington Consultant Infection Control Consultancy (ICC) M: +61 404 816 434 E: glenys@infexion.com.au Biography – Glenys Harrington An experienced Infection Control Consultant with post graduate qualifications in Critical Care, Midwifery, and Infectious Diseases and has an extensive background in infection control in developed and developing countries. She held the Infection Control Program Coordinator role in the Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology Unit at Alfred Health, Melbourne from 2000 – 2009 and in 2010 established her own infection control consultancy service. Her experience in the Asia Pacific region includes a World Health Organization (WHO) Consultancy to a SARS Outbreak Team, infection control program reviews, and tutorial attachments. She is an Honorary Advisor on the Hong Kong Infection Control Nurses Association (HKICNA) Research Review Panel, Executive Committee Member of the Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) and 2016 recipient of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control, Claire Boardman, Medal for Leadership in Infection Prevention and Control.
