Cancellation and Replacement Policy

Any cancellation or change of your registration must be done in writing to the APISC 2026 organiSer and will be subject to the following conditions:

Cancellation of participation by the participant

  • On or before 31 May 2026: 50% refund of fee.
  • After 31 May 2026: NO refunds will be issued.
  • All refunds will be processed after Congress concludes.

Name changes/replacements

The name change will only be possible for confirmed and paid registrations. Substitution of name is admissible 1 time only per delegate.

  • On or before 31 May 2026: replacements or name changes can be made free of charge.
  • After 31 May 2026: replacements or name changes are subject to a 20% administrative fee.

Non-attendance/no-show      

Should a registered delegate not be able to attend the congress, for whatever reason, no further claims for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made.

Double payment/overpayment

In case of double payment or overpayment, an administrative fee is applicable on the refund.

Force Majeure

In the event of serious, special or unforeseen circumstances beyond MSIDC & APSIC 2026' control and other than Force Majeure, the organiser shall be entitled to cancel the event. Registered participants shall not be entitled to seek compensation for any costs or damages incurred other than the registration fees paid to the organisers, which will be reimbursed to the registrant. We strongly advise all participants to obtain appropriate insurance to cover travel, accommodation and any other costs that may be incurred as a result of cancellation or postponement of the event.

Entitlements

International Delegate, Low Middle Income Country (LMIC) Delegate and Local Delegate (Malaysian) are entitled to:

  • Admission to the scientific sessions​
  • Admission to the trade exhibition​
  • Congress bag & materials​
  • Certificate of attendance (e-certificate)​
  • Opening & Closing Ceremony​
  • Lunches​
  • Coffee/Tea
  • Discounted rate for SHEA Membership 

Accompanying persons and Exhibitors are entitled to:

  • Opening & Closing Ceremony​
  • Coffee/Tea
  • Access to scientific sessions is not permitted, except for sponsored sessions organised by the hosting company.

 

Notes

  1. All registration fees are quoted in USD ($) or RM (MYR) upon your selection during the start of your registration. Payment in any other currency will not be accepted. The invoicing address can be set up during the online registration process. Invoices are generated automatically once the payment is finalised. Make sure to update your invoice address and data during the online registration process.
  2. Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of the payment made. The prices indicated are only applicable if BOTH the registration AND the payment are received before midnight, MYT (UTC+8) on the relevant registration deadline date, otherwise, the higher registration fee will be applied.
  3. In the event of acts of God, government restrictions, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, or any other comparable calamity or condition beyond the control of the Organisers (collectively a “Force Majeure”) before the first day of the Congress, the Organiser has the right to cancel or reschedule the Congress.
