Oral presentation guidelines
  1. Format: Microsoft PowerPoint only
     
  2. Duration of presentation: 5 minutes
     
  3. Each presenter will be given 4 minutes for the oral presentation, followed by 1 minute for Question and Answer (Q&A). Presenters are kindly reminded to adhere strictly to the allocated presentation time to ensure fairness and keep the programme on schedule. Presentations will be stopped by the chairperson once the 5-minute limit is reached.

    Presenters are encouraged to limit their content to 5 core slides:
    • Title, presenter name and  affiliation
    • Introduction/Objectives
    • Methodology
    • Results (preferably in visual or graphical format)
    • Conclusion and impact

  5. Submission of presentation: All presenters must upload their presentation via the User Dashboard no later than 15 July 2025. The file must be named using the following format: [Oral ID].
     
  6. Presenters are also advised to check their presentations with the technical team at the media room at least three (3) hours before their session.
     
  7. Presenters who are unable to upload their presentation in advance are required to submit their PowerPoint file at the media room at least three (3) hours prior to their scheduled session. This allows the audio-visual team sufficient time to format the slides and ensure they are assigned to the correct session room.
     
  8. Presenters are advised to carry a backup copy of their PowerPoint file on a USB flash drive in case of technical issues.
     
  9. All presentations must be delivered in English, using clear and concise language, and all abbreviations must be clearly defined.
Poster presentation guidelines (Physical display)
  1. General Formatting Guidelines
    • Poster size: A0 (841 mm × 1189 mm)
    • Layout: Portrait
    • Strong visual flow from top left to bottom right
    • Font type: Arial
    • Font sizes: Minimum 20 pt
    • Rule: The poster should be readable from about 1–2 meters away
    • Figures: Label all axes and panels clearly
    • Tables: Use short, informative captions
    • Language: English only. Use simple, clear, and concise language. Avoid abbreviations where possible; if used, they must be clearly defined.

  4. Tips for Preparing Your Poster
    • Organise your poster so that the content flows naturally from the upper left corner to the lower right corner.
    • Clearly separate each section using lines, bars, headings, or adequate spacing.
    • Posters are primarily visual presentations. Use graphs, charts, photographs, and tables effectively.
    • As a general guideline, about 50% of the poster may be allocated to visual elements.
       
  5. Physical Poster Display
    • Posters must be displayed on-site at the assigned poster boards in the allocated area.
    • Each poster will be assigned a number displayed at the top right corner of the poster board.
    • Please ensure that your poster is mounted on the board corresponding to its assigned number.
    • Presenters must bring their own mounting materials, including Velcro.
    • Each poster will be displayed for one full day [7:30 am to 5:30 pm (MYT)], according to the allocated schedule.
    • All posters not removed by 5:30 pm will be taken down by the secretariat.
    • Presenters are encouraged to remain near their posters during designated viewing sessions.
e-Poster guidelines
  1. The e-poster format and layout should be the same as the physical poster.
    • The e-poster must be prepared as a single-page poster
    • Poster size: A0 (841 mm × 1189 mm)
    • Layout: Portrait
    • Format: JPG format (72 dpi)
    • Maximum Width: 1080 pixels
    • File size: not more than 1 GB
       
  2. Hyperlinks, animations, and slide transitions are not permitted.
     
  3. All content must be clearly arranged and legible for electronic viewing.
     
  4. Figures, tables, charts, and images must be of good quality.
     
  5. Presenters are responsible for ensuring that the submitted e-poster is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
     
  6. Submission of presentation: All presenters must upload their e-poster via the User Dashboard no later than 15 July 2025. The file must be named using the following format: [Poster ID].

Note: Your Poster ID will be assigned to you closer to the congress date.
